The wheel kit makes your GBBF even more portable. Designed to keep the wheels OFF the ground unless opposite end of box is lifted: prevents animals from being able to push box around. Includes stainless steel axles. Available for standard bale size models, including box you build yourself.
LDWK: This standard wheel kit is for general use - moving around the barn, from one paddock to another. Hard rubber tires: $42.
HDWK: Heavy Duty wheel kits are for those single size boxes that will be moved around over rough terrain and longer distances. Pneumatic tires. $76. The HDWK is currently unavailable - am looking for tires not made in China.
If building your own box, order your wheel kit AFTER you have completed your box and give the exact outside width of your box in order to have the axles cut to the correct length.
Weather Roof -/- Goat Guard
Now in all stainless steel. Allows normal feeding access, hinges open for easy loading, deters goats (and lambs) from climbing on top of hay, allows for outdoor use but will not provide complete protection from the elements. Unless you have goats, you don't really need one. For complete protection of hay from rain and snow, we would recommend building a lean-to over it. Includes 12" roof support* brackets and all hardware.

The legs are solid stainless steel and elevate the box 12" from the ground. They may be mounted onto 4x4 skids for higher lift and greater wind stability. Available for any size box.
